Born in Kuwait in 1963, Mr Al Essa is a graduate of Macalester College, Department of Business Administration-Economics in the United States. He joined Kuveyt Türk Katılım Bankası A.Ş. (KFH in Turkey) (the “Bank”) as a member of the Fund Management Department in 1996. Mr. Alsaleh was appointed as Executive Vice President in 1999 and later as Executive Assistant to the CEO, serving in this position until 2006. Serving as a Member of Board of Directors of Kuveyt Türk since 2006, Mr Al Essa also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Corporate Governance Committee member of the Bank. Mr Al Essa has decades of banking experience and in particular Islamic Finance experience.
